How an order runs
How does an order work from payment to delivery?
Four steps, all inside the normal WooCommerce order.
The service is a normal product
You list the service in your catalog like any product, with an estimated delivery time.
The buyer answers your questions
After payment, the buyer fills in the requirement questions you set for that service.
Work happens on the order
Chat, shared files and a status tracker sit on the order. Both sides get notifications, and the vendor gets an email on each new order.
The seller delivers
The seller attaches the final file and marks the order delivered. Ratings follow.
Who gets what
What do buyers get, and what do store owners and vendors get?
Everyone works from the same order page, so nothing is lost in email.
For the customer
Answer the seller's questions after paying, chat on the order, share files, follow a status tracker, get notified, receive the final file and leave a rating.
For the store owner
Sell services through the checkout you already run. The Service checkbox sits in the Product data panel beside Virtual and Downloadable, and works on simple, variable, grouped and external products.
For vendors
Create and manage services from the frontend, reuse saved requirement question sets, update the delivery date from the service page and add a co-author or support agent to a service or one order.

Can I run a marketplace with several vendors?
Yes. Woo Sell Services works with Dokan, WCFM and WC Vendors, and vendors create and manage their own services from the frontend. A vendor's rating also syncs to the standard WooCommerce product review.
